Since entering the year 2010, attacks towards places of worship have escalated, especially towards the Christians compared to the year before. In 2008, there were 17 acts of violation; in 2009, there were 18 acts of violation that were aimed at the Christians in several forms. And in 2010, from January – July, as stated in this thematic review, there were 28 incidents of violation towards freedom of religion/beliefs.
